Dah Dim Sum products are varied, authentic and delicious. Dim Sum can be cooked by steaming, deep frying, pan frying, air frying, boiling and baking. Some varieties of our Dim Sum can even be microwaved

Defrosting is unnecessary as our Dim Sum can be cooked from frozen but it is advisable to defrost to prevent it from unevenly cooked and preventing them from sticking together.  Our products are ready to eat in no time as they are lightly steamed or fried in advance, keeping cooking time for the consumer to a minimum.

Store at or below -18°C at all times.

Defrost

Before cooking Dah Dim Sum that have been frozen, partially thaw them by letting them sit for 15 to 20 minutes. 

Over night defrost

Thaw in refrigerator overnight. Once thawed use within 24 hours.

Cooking Instruction

Deep Fry

  1. Defrost the Dah Dim Sum.
  2. In a pan, heat oil to medium hot.
  3. Once oil is hot, fry the Dah Dim Sum.
  4. Fry the Dah Dim Sum till golden brown. (for about 3-4 minutes )
  5. Ready to serve with sweet sauce.

Steam

Brush the base of the steamer with oil before putting the dim sum to stops them from sticking or look for "bamboo steamer pads" basically round parchment paper with holes in it to put on the steamer basket.

  1. Defrost the Dah Dim Sum.
  2. Heat the water in the steamer.
  3. Put Dah Dim Sum in steamer.
  4. Cook for 8 - 10 minutes. ( Lager item about 15 minutes )
  5. Ready to serve with sweet sauce.

Salted Egg Yolk Bun is best to steam for 4 minutes to have the best lava effect.
