Classic Shanghainese dessert -It is a thin, flaky and crispy rectangular-shaped pancake that is usually filled with a thin layer of red bean, pandan or white lotus paste, and then cut into small rectangular bite-sized pieces. Just delicious!
This pancake is commonly served at the end of the Chinese wedding banquet if you happened to attend one. So far we did not come across food court selling this particular snack…do you?
It is a sweet course eaten at the end of a meal, best pairing with a glass of Kopi or Teh Tarik.
